About Incontinence & Its Symptoms
Incontinence is the inability to control one's bladder or bowel, allowing bodily waste to escape. It is a common condition that will often cause people to alter their lifestyles in order to accommodate their lack of control.
Incontinence Products
There are a variety of products available for dealing with incontinence, including items designed specifically for men and women. Some products are intended for urinary incontinence only, while others are for both urinary and bowel incontinence.
Liners and Pads are available for mild urinary incontinence and are designed to take into consideration the individual needs of both men and women.
Protective Underwear are available in several sizes and are intended to be used for full urinary and/or bowel incontinence.
Bed Pads are absorbent pads that are designed to protect sheets and mattresses in the event of urinary or bowel accidents.
Mattress Covers shield the entire mattress to protect it against any moisture leakage or spillage.
Catheters A catheter is a tube that is inserted into the bladder through the urethra and drains the bladder constantly into a leg bag usually attached to the shin. At night, a catheter can be connected to a night drainage bag that will hold more volume than a leg bag, allowing a better night's sleep.
