We are excited to introduce one of our newest ambassadors, Amanda – who is also a member of the Motion team! Originally from Lachine, Quebec, Amanda moved to Regina for a summer job and never looked back. After meeting the team at Motion Regina for her accessibility needs, Amanda joined Motion as a Customer Service Representative. Amanda shares below how Motion puts clients before products and keeps her moving so she can make a difference. Hello, My name is Amanda. In 2016, I decided to embark on an adventure and moved from Lachine, Quebec, to Regina for a summer job. I made so many amazing friends that I decided to stay. While I had many wonderful experiences, it was also a time when I realized that life could be hard, and navigating adult life in a wheelchair sometimes felt impossible.I don’t exactly remember when my relationship with Motion began, but I do remember that they were there for me when I needed them. They provided equipment that made my apartment more accessible, allowing me to feel more at home. When my wheelchair was in such disrepair that a torch was needed to remove some of the parts, Motion was happy to help and even taught me how to better care for my equipment. Previous Next The best part of my experience with Motion has been their customer service. They always treat me with respect and see me as a person, not just my equipment. Even before joining the team, no matter how many times I called, they were always willing to answer my questions and assist me in any way they could. Even when they didn’t have the answer, they went above and beyond to find it for me.I was so impressed with their customer service that when they offered me a job in July 2024, I was thrilled to accept. I have cherished the opportunity to make a positive impact in a community I am proud to be a part of. I was excited to learn about the ins and outs of rehabilitation equipment, but most of all, I was eager to work with clients to assist, educate, and advocate for them in any way possible.Motion puts clients before products and keeps me moving so I can make a difference.
