Return policy

Motion provides customized mobility and accessibility solutions along with the most complex seating and positioning systems, so that our clients can reach their highest level of function.

We appreciate your purchase and sincerely hope it meets your expectations. However, if, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we provide options for a full refund, store credit, or an exchange. Please refer to the details below for a comprehensive overview of our return policy.

Items not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Customized, specially ordered, or fabricated mobility and accessibility devices.
  • Items that have come in contact with the skin:
    • This includes, but is not limited to, power lift recliners (lift chairs), seating and positioning products (including wheelchair cushions and back supports), TENS units, patient lifts, bathroom safety items (commodes, raised toilet seats, shower/bath chairs), pillows, bedding and mattresses, bracing, and continence care products.

All returns must be returned or exchanged within fifteen (15) days of the purchase date. All eligible returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached. The returned item(s) must be accompanied by original receipt, and a credit/debit slip, if applicable. The client is responsible for any/all restocking charges, including shipping and/or customs brokerage.

Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment in which the item was purchased to the original payee without exception. However, return limits may apply (see below).

Credit card purchases: No limit applies.

Debit card purchases: Purchases completed using a debit card are subject to a $2,500 return limit. If a debit card purchase exceeds $2,500, Motion will issue a cheque in the amount of the payment previously made by the payee. The cheque will be mailed to the payee’s address; processing times may vary.

Cash purchases: We strive to provide cash reimbursements whenever possible. However, there may be situations when cash is unavailable. In such cases, Motion will issue a cheque in the amount of the payment previously made by the payee. The cheque will be mailed to the payee’s address; processing times may vary.
