Join Motion’s Linda Norton for the education session, Choosing the “Right” Therapeutic Support Surface.
Therapeutic support surface options are endless: low air loss, alternating air, multi-zoned, foam, gel, active, reactive – and it can be overwhelming to select the “right” therapeutic support surface for an individual client. During this workshop, participants will explore the latest research and best practice recommendations for the selection of therapeutic support surfaces and apply this information in their clinical setting.

Linda Norton M. Sc.CH, Ph.D, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Linda is an Occupational Therapist who has been involved with the prescription of mobility devicesfor over 20 years. It is her diverse experience in various settings, including hospital, community,and industry and experience in various roles including clinician, educator, manager, andresearcher, that give Linda a unique perspective.
She has completed her Bachelor’s degree inOccupational Therapy, her Master’s degree in Community Health, and a PhD in OccupationalScience.
Currently, Linda is a co-director and faculty member of the International Interprofessional WoundCare Course and is a faculty member of the Advanced Health Care Practice – Wound Healingprogram at Western University. Linda regularly presents workshops and webinars across Canadaand is the Director, Learning and Clinical Education for Motion.
