We are pleased to announce the integration of British Columbia’s North Coast Home Medical Equipment (NCHME), effective January 1, 2021.

Established in 2008, NCHME originally operated as a MEDIchair franchise until transitioning to independent ownership in 2015. NCHME provides products and services to the Northwest Northern Health Region, from Houston to Haida Gwaii, including Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, and Smithers as well as the surrounding areas.

As someone who was born and raised in Terrace, BC, has worked for North Coast Home Medical Equipment since 2010, and has over 20 years of experience in the home medical equipment industry, I truly understand the importance and value of NCHME becoming a part of the Motion family. This will not only give us greater access to specialized equipment, information, and training but can help us to provide superior customer service to our existing clients as well as build new connections to extend our reach.

NCHME, now known as Motion Terrace, joins Shoppers Home Health Care’s Wheelchair & Stairlift Division, MEDIchair, Creative Mobility Products Inc., and Eastern Mobility Specialists as prominent providers who have been acquired by Motion over the last 5 years.
